The Robert H. Pelletreau Distinguished Service
Award in Historic Preservation is
presented by the
Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society in alternate years to a
person
or organization that has significantly contributed to
historic preservation in Suffolk
County. The award was instituted in
2001 and is made possible by the many
contributors and donors who
wish to honor the memory of Robert H. Pelletreau,
Historical Society
President for 22 years and dedicated preservationist.

Charla Bolton
in recognition of her many significant efforts to
advance
historic preservation on Long Island
and to
Jane Platt and Radey Johnson
in recognition of their dedicated restoration efforts in
the preservation of the historic
Pelletreau house (circa 1770) located within Bellport
Village
